Ways to experience GROUP

GROUP Leadership Intensive

A two-day intensive open to a mixed group of leaders from across creative industries.

When disruption changes how we work, it intensifies what's happening between people. In these moments of uncertainty, people look for leaders they know and trust. Leaders who can create connection, tell the truth, and help people take the risks high-bar work depends on. GROUP develops the capacity to lead in a way that makes that possible.

What happens at GROUP?

We bring together a small group of leaders from across the industry who do not work together and, in most cases, are meeting for the first time. Without shared history, hierarchy, or workplace politics, people can be more honest about what they are noticing and experiencing as they get to know one another. Their real-time reactions become the material for the work. How someone enters the room. Who they trust. Who they pull toward or away from. What makes them feel heard, challenged, dismissed, cautious, or curious.

Together, we recreate the pressure and uncertainty of real leadership, then slow it down enough to see what is happening between people. Leaders begin to see the gap between their intention and their impact, as well as the relationship and power dynamics that are often difficult to notice from inside everyday working life. This is what makes the experience directly relevant to leadership. Leadership happens through other people. It requires reading the room, understanding your impact, navigating difference, building trust, using influence, and responding in real time when there is no script. GROUP gives leaders a place to practice those skills as they are actually happening, so they leave with greater range in how they connect, influence, and lead through disruption, change, and complexity.

The two-day experience with a group of 10 hand selected leaders includes the following:

  • Expertly facilitated by GROUP partners, Danielle & Iliana.
  • Hosted in our home for GROUP - a beautiful parlor floor of a brownstone in New York City.
  • Breakfast and lunch are provided on both days.
  • Two follow-up zoom meetings with all participants 30 days and 90 days post the intensive
  • Feedback you can't get elsewhere and an experience you won't stop thinking and talking about.
I came into GROUP not knowing what to really expect, and took more from it than I could've imagined. I haven't been able to stop thinking about it.

I had a situation come up at work that would have usually unraveled me. But because of GROUP, I was able to express my opinions and protect the creative. Not only did the person come around, but it changed how we work together.

The Investment

The cost of one seat in the two-day GROUP intensive is $2,500. Many leaders attend GROUP through their organizations. If you are interested in participating and would like support making the case internally, we can help you articulate the value of GROUP and navigate how to request their sponsorship. Schedule time with us to discuss.

We also hold one or two seats in each cohort for leaders who want to participate but cannot make the full investment. These seats are offered on a sliding scale. If you would like to be considered for one of these seats, complete the nominate yourself form below and check the box at the bottom.
